Four 18-Hole Rounds Riding at The Pines Country Club, northwest of Valley. Strategically placed bunkers guard the greens and sit in several fairways. The rough is seeded bluegrass, cut slightly longer than the fairways. The fairways are lined with trees. The large undulating greens, often cut short and quick, are the most challenging aspect of the course. The long par 5 fourth is one of the most difficult holes. It has a lateral water hazard and two small ponds straddling its fairway, forcing you to think before hitting your tee shot.
