Turtle Time: A Children's Photo Story about Flatback Sea Turtles
Welcome on a journey to one of the most isolated corners of the world, to learn about the beautiful and mysterious Flatback Turtle! The Flatback is unique among the seven species of sea turtles; it is the only sea turtle to nest solely in a single country, doing so in the rugged far north of Australia. The Flatback Turtle nesting is one of natures spectacular events. The pilgrimage to witness it is a privilege few can claim given the tremendous isolation of the beaches the turtles call home. This journey, shown in photographs and told in simple rhymes, follows the sea turtle from nesting mothers to newborn hatchlings. It takes place in the remote mining town of Port Hedland, Western Australia. Many locals have the good fortune to witness mothers nesting and babies hatching just a hop, skip, and a flip from their doorsteps a fortune about to be shared with you!

The Wizard Who Saved the World
Diego is a young boy who daydreams of being a wizard with magical powers. During about the first half of the book, he imagines using these powers to make the world a better place, and in particular to fight global warming. But when he snaps out of his daydreaming and remembers that he cant really do magic, he wonders whether there is anything he can do in real life to help save the world. The rest of the book shows him considering many potential careers, and becoming greatly inspired as he realizes that he can make a difference. As the book draws to a close, he walks past a mirror and in the reflection, he sees that he has become a wizard after all.
Now in the more than 1,030 public elementary school libraries in the State of Colorado, thanks to the help of the Colorado PTA, the Jared Polis Foundation, and the Max Goes to Schools Donation program.

Federation of Galaxy Explorers Summer Camp
From 2002 to present day, our summer camps have been offered in Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania. During our camps, we teach space-based Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics using our core curriculum based in Engineering, Rocketry, Robotics, Astronomy, GeoScience, Biological Science and Space Citizenship. Each camp duration is one week.
We have four primary camps: Moon Base, Mars Base, Robotics and Rocketry. Our Moon Base Camp has an engineering focus on Rocketry. It serves grades 3-5. Mars, with an emphasis on Robotics, serves grade 5-7. Our High School camps (grades 7-12) focuses on a deeper level of science activities, such as Robotics or Rocketry. At the end of all our summer camps, all campers, parents and even friends are invited to our end of the year rocket launch. Here, we will launch our rockets.
