Donations are items that are given to a group to auction or sell at a fundraising event. Donations can be physical items, gift certificates, services (typically in the form of gift certificates), or cash (such as sponsor dollars).
Use the Donation Tags feature to associate the donation with a particular sub-group (such as a team or department). Use the Donation Categories feature to keep donations organized.
The donation category carries over to the associated auction item when a donation is coverted to an auction item. Auction categories are used to calculate Buy it now pricing (if it is enabled) as well as provide end of event reporting on percent return.Several donation-related reports are available from the menu.
The reports are printable and the data can be sorted by clicking the table headers.
