Establish and Configure a Worldpay Merchant Account

To establish a merchant account with Worldpay
  1. Submit your application request to us via this this online form.
  2. We will then submit the information directly to Worldpay on your behalf and help you complete the process
  3. Next, if you provided a cell number, you will receive a text with a secure link to complete the application in their easy-to-use mobile app. It takes only 15 min to complete the application and Help is just a phone call away! If you prefer to complete the application online, you can access the application via email as well.
  4. Federal regulations require that Control Owners (the individual(s) typically representing a non-profit organization) and/or Beneficial Owners supply their SSN, Date of Birth and Home Address to complete the Worldpay application.

A Control Owner is: individual with significant responsibility to control, manage, or direct a legal entity customer, such as an executive officer or senior manager (e.g., a Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Managing Member, General Partner, President, Vice President, or Treasurer) or any individual who regularly performs similar functions.

Federal regulation requires certain financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information about the beneficial owners of certain legal entity customers. Legal entities can be abused to disguise involvement in terrorist financing, money laundering, tax evasion, corruption, fraud, and other financial crimes. Requiring the disclosure of key individuals who own or control a legal entity (i.e., the beneficial owners) helps law enforcement investigate and prosecute these crimes.
  5. Once your account is approved, you will receive a link via email with instructions to log in to Worldpay's IQ System.
  6. Be sure to record your login credentials as you will need them to view payment deposit details while reconciling your bank account.
  7. Please contact Worldpay Customer Care at 800-846-4472, or see their IQ FAQ document, if you need help accessing their IQ System, or have issues with establishing your account.
Silent Auction Pro™ will complete the configuration step on your behalf. After the configuration is complete, we will send an email indicating that you're ready to test your account, and then accept payments.

If you would like to complete the configuration of your Worldpay account on your own, find the step by step configuration instructions here.

As a final step we strongly recommend that you store (authorize) a credit card and then run a $1 transaction on that card. To store a credit card and run a test transaction
  1. Go to Check In Tools and enter your own name in the Search for contact field
  2. If you are not already a contact, click to add a new contact and enter your information
  3. If you are already a contact, click on your last name
  4. Click on the Authorize Credit Card button
  5. Enter your credit card information and click Process Card
  6. Once you have successfully stored your credit card, you need to run a $1 test transaction
  7. Go to the Check Out Tools enter your bidder number or last name in the "Bidder number or name" field
