Auction item details Item # A24

2018 Saintsbury, Chardonnay, Sangiacomo Vineyard, Carneros, James Suckling 93 points: “Ripe apricot with salted butter and mango on the nose. Smoke and flint, too. It’s full-bodied and wonderfully creamy. Crisp acidity and lingering, cream notes.”

2017 Schooler Nolan, Red Wine, “Horse Heaven Hills Reserve”Robert Parker gave it 91 points.
“This Cab, Merlot, Petit Verdot isn't just a great value, it's a great wine. Delicious when you first crack the bottle–dreamy Horse Heaven Hills black cherry goodness, more mouth-filling red and black fruits, mellow chocolate notes, so smooooth it needs the extra o's–and it holds up surprisingly well over a couple days, another rarity at this price. Case-worthy!”
2017, Reynvaan Family Vineyards, The Unnamed Series, Syrah, Walla Walla Valley.
“One of the huge hits of 2019, Reynvaan's The Unnamed Series Syrah is back! This Syrah, from Walla Walla Superstar Reynvaan, is made from the same estate vineyards (In The Rocks and Foothills In The Sun) and made in the same way. But it's 1/3 the price of Reynvaan's flagship Syrahs. That's our kind of bargain.”

Back story on the last 2 from Eric: We have bought a TON of wine from Avalon Wine in Portland, OR. When they email me to tell me to buy a wine, I obey. They told me to buy these two wines. They are amazing deals and nice wines.

Decant both of these reds for an hour or two or more.
