Last winter on Lake Avenue in White Bear Lake hundreds of daily walkers stopped to marvel at the Great Horned Owl nest. We all spent months watching the Mom and Dad sit on, and guard the nest. Two Baby Horned Owls appeared, and we all watched in fascination as they peeked out of the nest, creeped along the branches and finally testing their wings.  We hope the parents come back and nest again next year.
