Printable Quick Reference Cards (QRCs):
Tutorial Videos:
Auction administrators can edit most auction items to either remove or add donations to or from a bundle, or to change the title, type, category, or other details.
This is accomplished in two steps, first by editing the bundle and then by editing the auction item details. To delete an auction item altogether,
see Deleting Auction Items.
To edit an auction item
- Click the menu and choose the option.
- Locate the auction item to be edited
Some auction item details including: title, catalog order value, minimum bid, maximum bid and bid increment can all be changed right here on the Edit page.
Double click on the value you wish to change, and type new value directly on this page. Hit your <Tab> key to save this new value.
- If you are adding or removing donations, click the A# link for that item to edit the item specifics. Drag the items left or right
from one pane to another as desired within the Edit Auction Item Bundle form.
- Click the button.
- Edit the details as necessary and click the button.
- You should see a confirmation message that the item was updated.
Need to change the section number or auction type but want to skip the add donations page?
Click on the Y/N in the ONLINE column to quickly jump to the edit auction item details page.
If the updated auction item requires a bid sheet, follow the instructions for printing a bid sheet and SOLD sheet for the updated item.
To sort the auction catalog
There are three ways to reorganize your auction catalog using the sort tool.
- Using the far left column, drag and drop items to reposition them in the table. Click Set catalog position button to save the catalog display in this order.
- Click Grid view, to view auction item thumbnails, and then drag/drop item thumbnails into position.
Click Set catalog position button to save the catalog display in this order.
- Manually adjust Order value within the table:
- Click the value in the Order column and enter the new order value for every item you want to reposition.
- Click the Save order values button to save the new value entered AND sort the page numerically by Order.
- Click the Set catalog position button to capture the ROW order as the catalog display order.
You do not have to use the Order column to sort your catalog. You can choose any column to sort and then set the catalog according to that sort order.
