Silent Auction Pro provides the ability to schedule announcements that are posted to members' home pages on both full browser and mobile platforms. The Bidsheet Pro™ and Mobile Pro™ packages add the ability to schedule email and text notifications using built-in templates as a starting point.

Notification messages can be composed ahead of time and then automatically triggered using the scheduling feature. You can use this feature to schedule reminders to your auction staff, or to schedule communication to your donors, bidders, and more.

Announcements appear on the SilentAuction Pro member's home page.

1. From the Communication Tools menu option and select Schedule Messages link to open the form.
2. From the Format drop-down box, select Announcement to expand the Add Notification form.
3. Provide an announcement title and set the post date/time and expire date/time.
4. In the Display to drop-down box, select a group member level. This enables you to filter the recipient list to target specific groups from within your contacts database.
5. In the Announcement text box, compose your message and and click Add notification. Announcements can include videos and images. See our help page on uploading images and videos for information on file types and size restrictions.

Clicking the Reset button or navigating away from the form before adding the notification will clear the form. Announcements can be edited or immediately deleted via the Notifications section at the bottom of the page.

Begin by composing an email or text using the built-in templates as a starting point. See Communication Tools: Writing Letters, Emails, Texts, and Custom Reports for details.

1. From the Communication Tools menu option and select Schedule Messages link to open the form.
2. From the Format drop-down box, select Email or Text to expand the Add Notification form.
3. Provide a title and set the send date/time.
4. In the Template drop-down box, select a previously created template type or click Write letters... link in the top right corner of the page to open the Write Letters, Emails, Texts or Custom Reports form and design your own.
5. In the Send to drop-down box, select a target list. This enables you to filter the recipient list to target specific groups of people such as Bidders, Bid Winners, Contacts, Donors, Group Members, etc. You can additionally filter by Label, if desired.

Clicking the Reset button or navigating away from the form before adding the notification will clear the form. Scheduled texts and emails can be edited or deleted before they are sent via the Notifications section at the bottom of the page.

1. All cell phone carriers (for example; AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.) require that cell phone users have the ability to Opt Out of receiving any and all text messages from a long code sender. The Silent Auction Pro™ long code number is (888) 990-9876.
2. Cell phone users can Opt Out or Opt In by texting STOP or UNSTOP to the Silent Auction Pro SMS phone number (888) 990-9876.
3. If a guest/bidder has selected to Opt Out of text messages from Silent Auction Pro (888) 990-9876, they will not receive text out-bid notifications or any other text messages you create and schedule with the software.
4. When a guest provides their cell phone number, they are asked to Opt In at that time by checking a box to agree to receive messages from Silent Auction Pro™.
5. No group member has the authority to change a guest/bidder Opt Out status. The guest/bidder must text UNSTOP back to the Silent Auction Pro short code(888) 990-9876 in order to start receiving text messages again.
