Editing My Group's Info

A group's information can only be edited by a group administrator.

To edit your group information
  1. Click the My Account menu item and select the My Group's Info menu option.
  2. Use the form to update your group's information, making sure to enter the correct tax rate for your locality. Entering a tax rate of zero disables all tax calculations in the system.
  3. Verify or update your group's email address. The group email address will serve as the address showing in the "from" field when automatic emails are sent from Silent Auction Pro™ to your group.
  4. Enter payment and pick-up instructions in the Create winners email field. These instructions are added to the automatic email that is sent to all bid winners. See Notifying Winners and Printing Results for more information. The automatic bid winner email says:

    Dear [Name]

    We wanted to notify you that you have won the following auction item(s):

    A100 - Auction Item Title

    Any information added to the Winners Email field will be added at the end of this email.

  5. Click Update to save the changes.

Reply-to group email addressYour group's email addressRequired field. Defaults to the original group administrator's email address. All correspondence from Silent Auction Pro to your customers will have this address as the reply to address.
Notify email addressesEnter the email addresses, separated by commas, for any/all admins who want to receive system generated messages and notifications.
Notify cell numbersEnter the cell phone numbers,digits only - no dashes, separated by commas, for any/all admins who want to receive text notifications of reconciliation requests/when guests need to be approved.
Create winners emailAvailable with Bidsheet Plus™ package and higher. Instructions for winners now that the auction is over: where to check out, and where to pick-up items after payment. You can use this field to include additional payment and pick up instructions with the automatic email message that Silent Auction Pro sends to bid winners when the auction is over/sections close. Messages are sent to all bid winners who have an email.
LogoChoose File button to upload your group's logoLogo files must be GIF or JPG file format, and must be no more than 300 pixels wide by 300 pixels high. If you have uploaded a logo for your group it will appear as a small thumbnail image next to the Logo label. The larger image can be viewed by clicking on the logo thumbnail. See Uploading Images for more information.
Sales tax rateThe sales tax rate in your cityOptional field. If left blank or set to zero, no sales tax will be applied to any item sold.
