Purchasing Tickets Online
If an organization is hosting a fundraising event using Silent Auction Pro™ software, and has set up the online ticket sales option,
the host organization can provide a link or QR code to the online purchase form for potential attendees
to buy tickets. After clicking the link or scanning the QR code, purchasers are able to purchase tickets for your event by following these steps.
To set up online sales and donations, and to learn how to provide a link or QR code to advertise your ticket page, see Accepting
Online Ticket Orders.
To purchase tickets online
- Select the number of tickets, make include choices if appropriate, make an additional donation (if desired) and
select the credit card type.
When purchasing more than one ticket, enter the names of each guest and guest email addresses and/or guest cell number (as required) into the Guest Name fields to expedite
check-in on the day of the event. The first ticket of each ticket type is always assigned to the buyer. If additional guest names and email addresses/cell numbers are provided, Silent Auction Pro
will send an email to those guests with a link to claim their tickets, complete their registration and put a credit card on file to expedite check in.
Once tickets have been purchased, the buyer may change to whom the tickets are assigned (including their own ticket) from their member home page.
- Enter your login/password and click Enter or create an account.
- Confirm information regarding ticket purchase and billing address, check the box to agree to have your credit card held securely on file, then click Next.
- Enter credit card information and click Process Card to confirm payment.
- Click Print or Email Receipt for a record of your payment.
What if I receive the "sorry" message?
If you click the Online Ticket Purchase link and see a message saying "Sorry, Online Ticket Sales or Registration for Online Bidding is not available for the Group Number you have provided. Please contact the organization holding the event and verify that you have the correct web address for their event," then you either have the wrong web link or the event host is no longer providing online ticket sales.
