Using Contact Labels

Assigning labels to contacts helps organize the contacts into meaningful categories. Only one label can be applied to each contact. The default labels are:

Auction administrators can add new labels by clicking the Add Label button shown on the Add a Contact or Edit a Contact forms.

To filter contacts by label, click the Contacts menu item and choose Search / Add Contacts option. Update the search results to Show All contacts and type the name of the label for which you are searching, into the search field to display your filtered results.

A contact who has donated to your event (managed through Silent Auction Pro) is marked "Previous Donor." Likewise, a contact who has attended your event is marked "Previous Attendee." These automatic labels are separate from the label functionality described here.
