Occasionally, an auction item must be deleted. Deleting an auction item does not delete its associated donation. If a donation is removed from inventory and it has already been bundled into an auction item, the auction administrator must first delete the auction item and then delete the donation entry separately. Alternately, the auction administrator can edit the auction item to remove part of the items. See Deleting Donations.
Auction items that have been sold can not be deleted until the item is marked as not sold. Do this by either deleting the bid on an item or if you are using the online bidding option, change the item status to not sold from the Online Catalog Tools page.There are two ways to delete auction items; individually and in bulk.
To delete an individual auction itemThe auction item has now been removed from the system. Follow the steps for Creating an Auction Item Bundle to bundle donations into a new auction item. If the new auction item requires a bid sheet, follow the instructions for printing a bid sheet and SOLD sheet for the new item.
