Description:
Miniatures of Mechanicsburg by Robert Brunhouse while he was in high school in 1928. This is a clean unmarked hardcover reprint. The forward says: The title "Miniatures' means small pictures of the town at various times principally during the first seventy years of its progress. Also included are 4 glossy notecards and envelopes by Nancy Deitrich that show historical Main Street, the American House, the Brethren Church which became the Mechanicsburg Library, and Klair's 5¢ and $1.00 Store. Three postcards of the Stationmaster's House, the Union Church, and the Cumberland Valley Railroad Station complete this Mechanicsburg package.
