Artist Bio- Dawn Ward’s love of materials and processes probably comes from teaching studio classes in everything from sculpture to graphic design. She studied art at the School of Visual Arts in NYC and continued her arts education at New York University, where she received a Master's in Studio Art and a PhD in Art Education. Dawn has taught art at several universities throughout her career, including the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, Becker College in Worcester, MA, and most recently at Arkansas Tech University, where she was Department Head for 6 years. She moved to Eureka Springs in 2017, retiring from academics, but continues to teach workshops in art history and fine art and works as the Advancement Coordinator for Eureka Springs School of the Arts.
