Mixed media pendant and earrings made by DJ (Danielle James), donated by Timm Hilty owner of Zark's Jewelry. Necklace has metal pull chain look in black enamel and measures 23" from end to end and pendant is brass and is filled with jeweler's concrete measuring 1.25" x 1.25" and earrings are made of the same materials as the pendant and measure is 1.25" x 1.25".
Danielle James is a Delawarean, educator and recent graduate of the MFA Metals design program at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Chair of the 2013 East Carolina University “Material Topics” Metals Symposium (Making Marks) and avid curator of offbeat jewelry exhibitions, Danielle received her BFA in fine art metals from Millersville University. Celebrating the visual architectural narrative of America while fashioning human experiences into wearable objects are two themes that run throughout her current body of work.
