This is an original hand made stoneware piece is glazed with Temmoku and Iron Luster Glaze by Alyssa Zimmerman and titled "Vessel". This work measures 5" across the bottom x 10.5" tall and the opening across the top is 1" at the narrow point and 2" across the rim.
Alyssa received her BFA from Millersville University of Pennsylvania in 2015. She moved to Eureka Springs further exploring the possibilities of ceramics through thrown and hand built pieces and completed an artist in residence at ESSA in Fall of 2022. Her areas of interest are thrown and altered pieces, glazing, and figurative sculpture.
