This is an original oil on board by Tim Breaux titled "Surfer's Coast Oregon" - framed image measures 11" X 13" and was donated from Mariellen Griffith from her collection.
Tim Breaux (Ozark, MO) - is an artist, author and pharmacist best known for his integration of science into his method of painting. He is also an outdoor painter dedicated to first hand observation of nature as a means of painting nature convincingly. Inspired by works of The Hudson River School, his paintings are rooted in realism with an appreciation for those artists that have gone before us; their works, legacy, and message.
His work has been featured in numerous magazine articles, one man shows and invitational events across the United States. His recent book, The Secret Language of Successful Artists (2019), explores the way we understand and paint the world we see. He has received several honors including Best of Show at the 2018 National Oil and Acrylic Painter Society - Best of America Exhibit.
