She is an artist, photographer, writer, gardener and former university professor living in Northwest Arkansas.  She is a member of the Plein Air Painters of Eureka Springs and the Northwest Artists Association. She is a member of the Holiday Island Art Guild and listed in the Eureka Springs Artist Registry. She had taken art lessons from artists in Indiana, Illinois and Eureka Springs. She paints with oil primarily landscape scenes. Her art is in several galleries in Eureka Springs and Holiday Island.
