Tracking sheets are used by auction assistants to record bids on live auction items, raffle tickets, and fixed-cost direct sales items for which there is no bid sheet. The software automatically generates these tracking sheets providing the auction type assigned to these auction items has the Tracking Sheet option enabled. By default, the Live Auction type has this option enabled. See Editing Auction Types.
The following table is an example of a live auction tracking sheet generated by Silent Auction Pro.
Live Auction Tracking Sheet | |||
---|---|---|---|
Item Number | Bidder Winner | Amount | Auction Item Title |
A2 | 12 | $4,000 | A Ride in the Batmobile |
A110 | ... | $ | Five Nights in Ocean Front Cabo Condo |
A200 | ... | $ | Yachting with Clooney |
A230 | ... | $ | Dinner with Mark Twain |
If no items appear in the tracking sheet table, there are no auction items assigned to that particular auction type. See Editing Auction Types for more information on how to set the Tracking Sheet option.
For users of the Bidsheet Plus™ or higher level packages, the results (bid winners and amounts) that are manually recorded on the tracking sheet must then be entered into the database. See the Section Close Functions table and click the button.
