Description: Do your kids have an outdoor space to call their own? Have you always planned to build them a tree house but haven't been able to find the time? You could be the lucky winner of this extraordinary project and make their dreams come true! This Waldorf-worthy wood tree house is ready to assemble in your yard and comes with installation from the capable Second Grade parents. The house was designed by Second Grade CSWS dad, Pete Barba and measures 6' x 7' inside, with a railed deck measuring 6' x 5'. The roof is made from Sunbrella coated canvas and the decorative windows are screened. The Second Grade students have embellished the canvas with stars and moons, as well as the porch deck with linear form drawings. Imagine the creative play, the quiet sanctuary, and the summer sleep-outs this space will inspire!

Restrictions: Appropriate tree not included, but it can be used on the ground! Installation and delivery to be scheduled based on mutual availability.

Class parent, Ronson Crowder built the fabulous table from wood reclaimed from the lower meadow play structure, and used reclaimed wood from school and home for the chairs. Miss Christl assisted our youngest children with adding their painted handprints before applying shellac to preserve their handiwork. Included is a round red shag rug creating a place for play, snacks, and quiet work.

Eighth Grade Class Project: Waldorf Memories Quilt Category: Class Projects

Description: This offering is a culmination and representation of a CSWS journey! Each student captured a place, event, or subject on muslin for this "Waldorf Memories" quilt. Lisa Steinmetz, Eighth Grade mom and CSWS handwork teacher, pieced together the blocks, framed them in lavender, and quilted them into a gorgeous one-of-kind piece. This unique lap quilt (or wall hanging) measures approximately 50" by 60" and is sure to be a treasured family heirloom.

Description: This year the Sixth Grade is offering a beautiful puppet theater with thematic puppets from their upcoming class play, Robin Hood. The students will be creating these elements which will be presented to the lucky bidder following the final performance during Mayfaire. They will also create puppets suitable for a variety of stories, such as animals and grandparents. The stage is portable and foldable for storage when not in use. Treat the young ones in your life to these tools that will inspire their imagination for years to come!

Two Goats for Meat, Milk, or Pets Category: Home, Garden & Office

Description: The winner has a choice of does or wethers (or one of each), and either 100% Nigerian Dwarf or Savanah/Nigerian Dwarf mix. The Savanah is a meat breed; mixed with Nigerian Dwarf makes it a little smaller but also more meaty and better eating than a regular Nigerian Dwarf. This cross is mostly white with some small dark highlights here and there. They can be a little more skittish than a Nigerian Dwarf, but with frequent handling can be a good pet. Nigerian Dwarfs are a small friendly breed that produces excellent milk while being easy to manage and handle. Ideal as a pet; not really a good choice for meat, but can be eaten. Both will be great foragers and do best on pasture or quality hay (not alfalfa). The Savanna mix will eat more than the Nigerian Dwarf breed.

Description: The creative Class of 2024 presents a project inspired by their cooking curriculum! Six bowls and six plates make a unique dish set for your table. Each has been rolled and imprinted with a wheat seed head, and then shaped using large river rocks by the children. Once dry, they were glazed in warm fall colors, and fired to complete this gorgeous set, sure to impress your guests. Included is a set of bamboo dish holders to keep them safe and organized in your pantry. Each child created one dish in each set!

Description: Give your child the gift of a camp where creativity, imagination and music flourish! Located in El Dorado, Crocker House's two week camp is for kids Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. Campers create costumes and sets, practice songs and dance, and interact in character within their own age group and across the whole camp. All the preparation culminates in a performance that will make you proud! This year's theme is "Alice in Wonderland!"

Jason Grace, CSWS business manager, and Rob Keller, proprietor of Napa Valley Bee Company will take up to six people on a half day beehive tour in beautiful Napa Valley! Plunge into a hands-on honeybee experience as you explore the fascinating inner workings of the hive. You will learn why bees are vital to the local and global ecosystem, realize the plight of the honeybee, and explore chemical free methods of raising bees. All safety equipment will be provided, all you need to bring is your sense of fun and adventure. Cheese, wine, and honey tasting to follow the tour!

Restrictions: Participants must not be anaphylactically reactive to bee stings. Redeem on a mutually agreeable date in April, May, or June 2019. Transport to/from and lodging in Napa not provided.

Description: All aboard the California State Railroad Museum's Sacramento Southern Railroad: a six-mile, forty minute round trip excursion train ride! Your four tickets are for a closed coach car or open-air gondola pulled by either a steam locomotive or a vintage diesel locomotive. Children under five are free and do not require a pass. Trains run weekends April - September, every hour on the hour from 11 am to 4 pm (weather permitting). Trains depart and return to the Central Pacific Railroad Freight Depot in Old Sacramento.

Restrictions: The passes are for coach seating only, exclude special trains and ticketed events, and are not valid for Railroad Museum admission.

Natural Dye Fiber Class Category: Parties, Classes & Workshops

Description: Learn to prepare and dye fabrics using berries, leaves, and nuts from our natural surroundings. Each guest will receive a silk scarf to dye and take home! You may also bring one or two pounds of your own natural fiber materials to be dyed, such as a linen towel, silk shirt, or wool yarn. CSWS parents, Heather Odabashian and Lisa Steinmetz will give information about each dye, and a handout so you can reproduce the dyes on your own. Plan to spend three hours outdoors at Heather's Shingle Springs home.
